i'm agreeing with you Colin.
when i was little i often heard it said that to think a sin is the same as commiting it, so we're all guilty and all going to hell, heck if you don't go thru a shit load of ritual you'll go to hell BEFORE you can even commit a sin,,,yes kids some christians teach that little babies who are not baptised go to hell if they die.
AND lets not forget all of those people who lived before chrisianity and those who (due to living in Borneo or some shit) never heard the blessed word--yep! they are all burning in hell -- and according to most christians-good enough for them.
christianity is one of the more bogus of all the bugus religions.
Logically, without lust there would be no one around to commit the other cardinal sins, eh?

Christian sins are about heaping GUILT on you!
Once the Guilt is there, then the control starts thru FEAR of what might happen to you
in the alleged afterlife that religions offer as a carrot-on-a-stick.
