COMMENTS:
well aside from history what does london actually have...I have been there. New York is the coolest place on earth. Between the countless places to go and the huge gusts of wind that rip around the huge skyscrapers there is nothing like it. I've been to Chicago, Montreal, and London but New York makes them look like amateur cities.

Ultimately, what else *is* there apart from history?

Definitely London.

Having been to both I'd say London - but only marginally, theres nothing in London that can beat the view from the top of the empire state.

Might have been fairer not to pose this question to a person who *lived* there *twice* and hated *every second of it*...

NYC is the greatest in the world. NYC is probably the most important city of humanity.

^Finance. Lower Manhattan is the financial capital of the world. A large portion of the world's business is enabled by the markets in NYC. Furthermore, NYC is truly a melting pot. It brings together people from all over the planet and serves to ease them into American life. Many Americans have their origins there. I know so many people who were born in NYC to immigrant parents and have now dispersed throughout the nation, only to be replaced by new immigrants and their children. NYC is where the world meets.

"NYC is the greatest in the world. NYC is probably the most important city of humanity"

Oh, please.

You'll go blind if you carry on masturbating your nation's inflated ego like that, matey.

London. Better public transportation system, AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS FOR RESIDENTS, besides of the possibility of finding a job, which is not a problem in London of course.
