obesity is such a big problem what do you think, should restaurants reduce portion sizes?

no, people just have to control how much they eat 5
it would help 5
all too often, portions served in U.S. restaurants are TOO LARGE, imo 4
smaller portions whouldnt do much, people whould just eat more 2
no but they should tell you how many servings are in the meal they are serving you 2
the individual should have the right to have a big platefull of food, and the key is education 1

At the very least they should offer smaller portions.

When I'm full, I stop eating, just because it's large portion, doesn't mean I have to eat it all. I'll probably get the argument that's a waste of food

4 oz. of meat is ONE serving... I go to resturants (and I am an american) I can only eat 1/2 an entree seriously, even then I feel a tad gluttonous. I say bring down the portions and the fricken prices too lol.

The only one responsible for eating too much is the person eating it.

Portions are too big, but no one is forcing it down your throat. Restaurants will serve what people want. If people started ordering half sizes in droves, the restaurants would downsize their menus.

It's not up to others to manage eating habits of the masses. That's an individual task.
