I don't know if I would ever refer to Canada as that. I believe, however, that Canada is able to reap the security and defensive benefits of such a close proximity to the United States, which I wouldn't so much have a problem with, except when I see some ignorant Canadians talking shit about how crappy all of our policies are and how shitty our military is. Next time a thank you will suffice, ungrateful bastards.
Erm, does Canada actually ask for protection? As for gratitude, sought after thanks smacks of desperation if you ask me. America is a great country, with wonderful people, its a shame a minority give it such a bad name, with their jingoistic attitudes.
"I see some ignorant Canadians talking shit about how crappy all of our policies are and how shitty our military is. Next time a thank you will suffice, ungrateful bastards." I've heard Canadians denegrade U.S. policies, but never say the military is shitty, I've heard Canadians make fun of our military (or lack thereof). Canada does have less crime than the States though, because of our stricter gun laws.

America should be referred to as "Canada Heavy", if anything. (busy defending possible future homeland)
Windor is pretty s*itty imo...but I suppose you get that when you're that close to Detroit.
