Last night on the news, I saw a congressional hearing(?) about the Janet Jackson halftime show controversy. There was a Republican representative who was getting extremely emotional about the incident. Her voice was shaking with rage and she sounded close to tears. I understand that this was offensive to many people and families, but I think that it's silly to be so emotional and outraged about it. Do you agree? If the answer is no, please leave a comment. Thanks:)

I saw the same damn thing, man. I didn't get it -- it's just a breast. Big fucking deal. And Michael Powell is a tool too. There's nothing wrong with breasts -- if they can show guys' bare chests, why not girls' chests? Fuckin' A. It's like nobody's seen a titty before.
A lot of you out there drank from your mother's breast. Even if you weren't brestfed many of you breastfed your child. You people who were upset by it are uptight, suppressed idiots.
You shouldn't be upset over SEEING it. I think some may be upset over the "act" of ripping someone clothes off which is more sexual than looking at a boob.
I'm outraged that they are wasting their time on this bullshit. I saw more bare titty on a Benny Hill rerun at 7:30 in the evening more than twenty years ago.

Apparently you can't show a woman's boob on TV unless it's on the receiving end of a bullet because every time I flip the channels there somebody waving a gun around. How about working on that first?

Bollox, you get a pair of Tits in The Sun, the Star and the Sport every day!
Here we go...
I think there are FAR more compelling topics to be outraged about. You know... a cure for cancer, a cure for AIDS, preventing poverty.
It's sad, really. It shows how some Americans are so afraid of the body that they will scream bloody murder over a breast exposure. At the same time, there is a multi-billion dollar industry in America, generally known as porn. Something to think about...

The FCC staff executives are now on a witch hunt of anything remotely obscene. That is, whenever they're not busy on a media company sponsored trip to titty bars in New Orleans or brothels in Las Vegas.
Hypocrites.

Personally, I was MORE offended by the halftime Lingerie Bowl on pay-per-view. If no one else here saw it, its LOWLIGHT was one of the ladies scoring a touchdwon, spiking the ball and performing a LAPDANCE for the camera, which obligingly ZOOMED IN. Now, I don't begrudge anyone a lapdance (it just doesn't float my boat personally), but if they're SO WOOIED about FAMILY VALUES (I say this because the particular incident I mentioned was ALL OVER SportsCenter the next day!), the "family values" folks MIGHT want to start THERE...
