COMMENTS
Les Miserables was long, and required a lot of concentration, but it was well worth the effort. (Took me four months to get through it!)
The Harry Potter series are kind of good.
Good old Tolkien. He had such a brilliant grasp of the english language. Not many compare to him as far as painting a picture with words. Lord of the rings started the whole fantasy genre. And thats my bag baby. His other books rock too.
Frankenstein, a brilliant look at the culture of the absent parent and of societys lack of responsibility for what it has created.
"The courts of Chaos" by Roger Zelazny. The book taught me a LOT about handling inter-family issues. And it's pretty damn funny to boot.
I love to read. The truth is if I didn't have school, I'd read all day!
Wow Dan. You will grow up to be a very smart girl if you read like that!
A Clockwork Orange, then Of Mice and Men.
The World Best Loved Poems

A book of collection of the world best loved poems from the most inspirational genuis poets of all time.

Dharma Bums - Jack Kerouac
Whoa yeah. There certainly were a ton of good books in that list, but the question was all too easy for me to answer. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, a book I read after some of those on the list, but before most of them, and to this day my perception has been flipped inside-out and back again. I took the name Soma from that book and I'm still finding new definitions for the word 'Soma' some six years after taking the name. Good ballot.
