GIrls like to look dainty. You can't if you're next to a smal man. I used to live next door to this joke of a couple. The husband was a short shit. Couldn't have been more than 5' 3", and the wife was the ugliest giant 6 ft tall man bitch you ever seen. She probably lifts him up during standing sex. They had the nerve to pass on their fucked up genetics by having kids. That ought to be a crime.

tHE GENETIC BIAS IS INGRAINED INTO US DUE TO THE FACT THAT TALL MEN ACTUALLY DO TEND TO HAVE HIGHER iq'S, THEY'RE BIGGER AND MORE MASCULINE LOOKING. wHY WOULD i WANT A SHORT GUY? bESIDES, IN THAT STUDY, THEY ASSUMED WOMEN WANT RICHER MEN... Being TALL is OVERRATED, in today's competitive society more value is placed on intelligence, discipline, consistency, and creativity. Tall people take up more space and more resources. No longer do we need to hunt or do much physical labor, niether do men engage in physical combat as we did back 1000's of years ago. Being tall is basically a useless trait. As for the 5'3" man married to the 6' woman, if they are happy let them be, their child will come out perfect for the average of 6' and 5'3" is 5'8". Jason Murphy, I know it tough, I was 23 when I first kissed a girl and 25 when I first had sex. Before that I too was depressed and angry, until I took a chance with a girl who would give me a chance, I know its hard to find a girl like that, my problem was that my standards where too high, if you lower your standards a bit, just to start off, and go off with a fat girl or a girl whom most people do not consider attractive she will open many many doors for you. and later on you will have the experience to get the girl you truly want. I"m 5"10 or 5"11 girl but I would date guy if least 5"8 or 5"9 and I dont really like a guy any taller than 6"5 I usually prefer guy same height as me. Same reasons a man wouldn't want to date a boobless, flat bootied girl. The taller you are, the more load on your heart Surely short me would have a huge advantage, as they wouldnt have to knee to 'pleasure' their mates......just a thought.

He is caring, loving, hard-working, smart (there are no facts out there that say tall men hav higher IQs, Jannine) and supportive of everything that I do. Those are the qualities that I look for in a man. And he is attractive, actually downright sexy - and many of my girlfriends have told me that - he can charm the pants off of any girl! Height, skin color, looks - we don't have choices in - we are what we are. And if we focused more on the who somebody is rather than what somebody is - we could all find love so much easier. well im a tall girl so i want someone tall enough for me plus taller and bigger guys are stronger and stuff. i think it goes back to cavemen ppl when the women had to find the strongest man to protect her and stuff what if that shortie is worth $10 billion??

It's confidence, man. Studies have shown that tall people don't talk as much and are usually laid back, because they have a position above everyone and observe more than anyone else can. People can tell if a person is timid by how fast they speak as well a whole myriad of other psychological signs. I've seen tall women date men that are shorter than them and they stick out like a sore thumb. You get this feeling like she's his mother or something: I don't know it’s subconscious. When a short guy acts tough all the time taller guys laugh at him behind his back because they know he’s trying to over-compensate for something. It’s like when a girl makes a pass at a guy and he acts timid and insecure she knows at that exact moment that he either has a small penis, can’t get it up and/or isn’t good in bed. She’ll just pass him by. Everything is subconscious in nature. Birds on branches decide who is the alpha male solely on whose head is highest while standing on a branch. This is why pet shop owners tell parrot buyers to avoid putting the bird on their shoulder like a pirate, because the bird will think it’s better than it’s owner and try to knock his head off the branch (i.e. his shoulder). If you’re worried about getting laid, learn a musical instrument. Many great musicians are short and learning to keep rhythm will help you lay pipe better. Another sad note for you short guys: a recent study shows that the amount of money you make in a year correlates with your height.

Tall men can wear weight easier too. I'm 6'4 and I weight 180lbs; I'm skinny. If I was 5'4 and weighed that much I'd be fat.

Jason, I feel for you. I'm a 32 year old, athletic, well-off, successful short guy (5'6") with two degrees who has been treated very well be life EXCEPT that I must put up with constant rejection from women due to my height. You wouldn't believe how often I get rejected for that particular reason without even the women agreeing to go out on a first date with me (it is very hurtful to be told directly to your face "sorry but you are too short for me to go out with"). If you don't believe me, just go through the yahoo personals some time.I'm sorry girls but there is nothing I can do about my height (or lack thereof)! Having said that, I do get dates and have had a number of girlfriends. Unfortunately, I am sorry to say that if I wasn't relatively wealthy or if I didn't drive a Mercedes or if I didn't live in a nice part of town, very few women would have given me the chance to show them what a thoughtful, caring, charming guy I believe I am. I must say that I really feel for the short, "Average Joes" who don't have the compensating advantages I am fortunate to have. As it is, I want to thank the select, wonderful women in my life or who were in my life who have me the chance. To the rest (in the majority, unfortunately) I am sorrty to see that prejudice is still alive and well in our "progressive society". What a sad reflection on Western Civilization! BTW, I emphasize "Western" because height does not seem to be such a big deal for women from non Western cultures (this may be a possible solution for you, Jason). This heightism, I believe, is a cultural menifestation (or infestation) particularly bad in North America (I hear from my friends "down under" that even Australian women are more accepting of short guys than U.S. or Canadian women), But then, we live in a society that not too long ago wouldn't allow Black or Chinese people to enter movie theatres or certain restaurants. I don't think there is a huge evolutionary advantage for tall people. As a personal injury lawyer who sees injured people every day, I can tell you that my tall clients have a much tougher time recovering from back injuries than shorter people. So Jason, keep going and don't let these narrow minded, prejudiced people get you down. I know you'll find a special woman who will accept you for the great guy you really are inside as opposed to how you measure up against a yard stick. 5'6 isnt that short some women ive met are barley over 5 feet themselves.If your not the tallest guy should find a shorter women they probebly be more accepting of your height.But if you get along great with someone and have lots of fun with them they probebly will put your appearances aside just have to find the right person.

Damn,Do you have an echo chamber down there?? If I was taller than the man I would feel he is inferior to me. I would like to be with a man who was at least as tall as me or taller. That way I would feel that he is at least equal to me and supports me. Probably if he was an inch shorter than me I would still go out with him but no less. They may be overrated FSC729 but at least we can reach the top shelf without a ladder...

There is some sort of complex involving height and attractiveness -- in both genders. I don't really feel attracted to girls who are taller than me. I'm glad that I'm almost 6' -- 5'11-1/2 to be specific -- so most girls are shorter than me.
