You need good co-ordination to play association football. You can play it anywhere with a tennis ball, and is played around the world. Most US sports never catch on outside the US as they cost a lot for the equipment.

Soccer isn't my game and the reason for that is because I can't run for 90 minutes straight. I'm more of a basketball person. Since I have the height all I have to do is wait under the basket for the ball.

To add. Soccer is the sport where you have to be most athletic. Don't listen to anyone who says different.

Soccer doesn't have to be a sissy sport. The problem is referees giving a penalty to anyone that falls over and starts crying

Soccer is a tough sport. I played for 12 years and I definitely took some hits that are worse than in American football, only without the pads. Although the one thing I can't stand is all the "acting." Of all the sports I could watch on T.V. English Premier League soccer is the most enjoyable to watch. The NHL lockout has given me even more reason to watch it. Landlord has free cable woo hoo! Anyone see Liverpool's Djibril Cisse break his leg on Match of the Day a few weeks ago? Slo-mo shin snapping in half action! Football is tough, and I couldn't do it. That really pisses me off. No composure.

It's not a cissy sport. It's spoiled by the cheating and play-acting of the top players. With the italians being the worst of the lot. No wonder not many italians have successful club careers outside of the Italian Serie A league, they can't cope with the physical side of the game.

fuk u, u american twat, how can u fuking say that football is a cissy sport when u playb ameican football which if no tougher than rugby but u wear 10ft thick padding. Austin Power; the poruguese are the worst for diving didn't you see the eufa cup final the other year Celic v Porto, porto where diving out of their skin I played soccer for 6 years and it is not a sissy sport people think it is, but you see american football players in full uniform and tons of pads and they call us the wimps.
