$3000 a year? can't be western europe, I am guessing a soviet bloc country...

nothing you mentioned is worth the supression of personal freedom though, I rather starve in the streets than be a slave to the state.

Which country was this, is perhaps more accurate. Made me think when I read it. I defy anyone to follow the full history of yugoslavia.

$3000 was a lot of money in the 70's LCD. There is no suggestion of suppression in Yugoslavia. Whats this personal freedom thing?

I didn't know you bought into the commie thing LCD. Well I never. The wall was actually only in berlin mate. They didnt just chop europe in half.

When people are starving, I guarantee they would gladly accept food for less personal freedom... Try going hungry LCD and see if you still feel the same way

Life in the former Yugoslavia wasnt that repressive. I know a croat woman that literally told the communist party recruiters in her highschool to "bugger off" when they were trying to convince to join the party. Had this been in Russia and she'd be enjoying govt paid vacations in Siberia for the next ten years.

Yugoslavia under Tito was not in thrall to Moscow. Thats a pretty big achievement when you think about it.

Close. I said Albania. That *is* close, isn't it? (runs for globe)
by Truthseeker013 on Fri Jun 16, 06 2:57pm [+]

Shall I tell america that its was significantly due to their interference that yugoslavia collapsed? Probably shouldnt coz they wont believe me and think im a mean man.
