There are certainly many women with high offices. Most don't polarize people like Hillary does. No one seems to get worked up over Senator Elizabeth Dole. There are 13 other women in the Senate and none get the reaction Hillary does. Not even the most liberal ones like Barbara Boxer. I don't think it is because she is a woman that some think she is a bitch. Condi Rice doesn't get the same treatment. She is cold and calculating in my view. She isn't liberal. She likes lefties to think that. Then she wants moderates and conservatives to think she is moderate. Which is it Hillary? Or is it whatever gets you elected? I'd much rather see Boxer as president than Hillary. Boxer has principles and values. Not finger in the wind positions. People hate women who do not apologize for taking up space by acting weak or cute or dumb.

Mr. Fiddlefaddleonlsd: What I'd be interested in knowing is why, in your view, Hillary is "cold and calculating," and why, assuming you have a rational basis for this view, you penalize Hillary for this when virtually every other politician in America is the same way? And, do you not understand Barbara Boxer is as cold and calculating a politician as there is? I worked briefly with her campaign, and was just awed by her cynicism.

Political ideology aside, have you ever heard Shrillary make an emotional speech? What a nag! People critcize George Bush for being a bad public speaker, and rightly so - he's one of the worst I've ever heard. I feel the undercurrent of anxiety in my belly whenever he gives a press conference. But Mrs. Clinton is horrible for an entirely different reason. It's obvious that she's very intelligent and articulate, but it's her tone of voice that turns me off. Plus, she's a phoney and it shows. Hillary doesn't have strong opinions or beliefs. Quick! Tell me what she stands for. Being a strong woman has nothing to do with it either. There are plenty of strong women that people have no problems with. I've listed some. They could all run for president and be far less polarizing than Hillary. Voted : I'm puzzled by all this venom too. Personally, I think it is the name and that she has (for whatever reason) been single dout as an Enemy by the political Right. When I was a Neocon, I hated her ... because she was Hillary and 'everyone knew she was The Enemy.' When I came to my senses, years later, I found I had no actual basis on which to form such an opinion. It takes A village thats why. The hell if I will let her raise my children!!! She is evil and wants to control everyone and she wants to start with our children. For one she is more blatant than other politicians in saying whatever it takes to make the people around her at the moment happy. She is also very obviously coniving and calculating. Bill at least had this warm exterior, he seemed like a human being. Hillary, well she doesn't. It has nothing to do with being a strong woman in a position of power, I'd say condi fits that bill people don't hate her (well, except for the democrats who routinely hurl 'nigger' her way, but they aren't racist). For another, just look in to her eyes, if hitler shaved the mustache and grew another testicle he'd be hillary. Oh hey, now that the dems have broken the ice can we feel free to make this comparison? Hitlery Clinton? "For another, just look in to her eyes, if hitler shaved the mustache and grew another testicle he'd be hillary." Hey Herzog, you know how you always complain about the way democrats complain about Bush = Hitler? Guess you're no different yourself, eh? ^ yep Voted : She threatens my masculinity. She's the realest most base kind of threat to a lot of men. Pure hate is their only possible reaction and they'll justify it in such stupid ways. CRAP, I THOUGHT IT SAID "THEIR". Aya: if you notice in the next sentence I point out that the democrats 'broke the ice' on that. Hence it was a jab at both hitlery and democrats for overusing the comparison. But I agree, if you carefully edit out the entire rest of my post and put use only one quote taken out of context it does look like I'm as bad as a democrat. the bitterness on every ballot's really working for you HZ You're right jyl, I should instead dedicate my time to lambasting 'filthy apes' and wishing that billions would die so the earth could be saved. How oh how can I carry on knowing You don't agree with me? It is nice to see you've paid close attention :) Voted : OBAMA 2008 Not a fan. Unfortunately, I think she does have a pretty good chance of getting the Dem nomination, which means we'll likely wind up stuck with the GOP for ANOTHER four years... I don't like opportunists. I would have been more impressed with her if she made her way up the political ladder not having been married to a former president. ^ Oh get a grip B_L, you should really get back on your reality medications and cease the delusional rants, for god sakes woman perserve that last brain cell you have left... Voted : Ron Paul 2008 I think it's that Tom Cruise-style forced laugh of hers. That and her general insincerity.

Voted : I don't know, I just hate her. She looks scary. Voted : I'm puzzled by all this venom too. I am puzzled by it too. But every man I talk too has nothing good to say about her for some reason. If she looked like Jessica Simpson with no brain the men would have a different attitude. In this instance men are idiots. |
