clap clap clap go grumpy! I see that your daughter wont be some anorexic whore who gets her self esteem by some guy that treats her like trash.
lol Your welcome. I think when kids try to mature to quickly, that's when the self esteem issues start comming out. First their friends (or even sometimes mothers) encourage it saying tings like "you want to look pretty, you want to fit in, blah blah blah...". A few years later they're either depressed because they're boyfriend broke up with and they think it's because they're not pretty enough, they're wanting boob jobs before they're 16, or they're sticking their fingers down their throats everytime they gain 2 pounds.

Well,I am 11 years old myself and I think that children my age should'nt be acting like something much older then they are because they are going to get to that age one day, but i do have to admit that i do act older than i really am, but it just happens and well it is the 2oth century so that kinda means that children are more educated, but some of those things are more things that a younger child should'nt know.I wear a little make up and i wear earrings because my parents took me to get my first piercings when i was just a little baby and i don't wear tight clothing but i do wear kind of tightjeans but my parents don't like me wearing tight clothing.lol;) Well im 12 and lways wanted to wear make up wen i was younger the only make up i can wear is lipgloss and i think thats all you need at a young age and later when your in highschool to have a little bit more. Voted : No make-up or dating until high school No make up until 16 and she's has to buy it. She can have earrings at 12 and she has to buy it as well. No dating until 16, period. Voted : Within reasonable limits...nothing too explicit or potentially harmful Yes on earrings, but only posts, and nothing heavy and dangling, as her ears are still growing. Yes on light and natural-looking makeup. Skirts really shouldn't be shorter than a little above the knee length at that age. But I might be inclined to let her wear a slightly shorter one if she is willing to wear tights or bicycle shorts underneath it. Jeans should not be too tight. |
