We, like America have companies wishing to employ cheap labour. Once Mexicans are in America getting into Canada won't be nearly as difficult. Do we need to worry?

Currently I know of many companies that are bringing Mexicans & Phillipinos and paying them $15/hour under 9 month contracts

They'll remember things like sunshine.
I don't know about Canada being too cold for the illegal immigrants. I was recently at a McDonald's in Vail, Colorado and the whole staff is illegal immigrants. So if they don't mind being in Vail, I'm sure they'll soon be working their way up to Canada.
