Hey, I've just spotted a tosser. If this hypocrite can win it perhaps next year time we could give it to Robert Mugabe for reducing the population in his country resulting in less greenhouse gases. The Nobel Prize means nothing from today. Voted : Prematurely Awarded I think they have awarded Al Gore and the IPCC too soon. I do not doubt that they have a heartfelt desire to bring about a greater awareness on climate change and its impact on world but perhaps the Nobel committee should have waited to see whether their efforts actually made a genuine difference to pollution emission levels. ^ Sorry, that icon was meant for the tosser. You are joking Mojo, the rest of the World knows this is a joke. It's been ridiculed in the UK and his film has been slated by a judge over here for it inaccuracies. The guy was and will remain an idiot. Out of hundreds of statements made in the film, nine were cited by one judge to be inaccurate. Wouldn't it be wonderful Bush, Blair et al had a record like that? Talk about lying hypocrites. I'm sick of seeing this man vilified. He was cheated out of the presidency -- can't we give him credit for anything good? Sheesh. Voted : Despair He is an Environmental Pretender. I, and a few others, written him on a bad air issue in my hometown where the local officals and local newspaper turn a blind eye to for years. Algore basically told us, in other words, that he didn't care. Both times, in each elections, we voted for Nadar instead. Gore is a hypocrite on that issue. I wonder who bribed the Nobel Peace Prize folks. Yeah, and that fu˘king jimmy Carter -- let's not forget about that goddamn loser. No we can't he's taking the piss out of us. I will agree with you that Bush and Blair have committed greater sins but then this plum would of as well if he'd got the chance. Voted : HALLELUJAH! YAY!!!! Voted : Another hypocrite crook gets an award to go with his huge paycheck. Just look up any information on his relationship with Maurice Strong and their carbon-credit scam.

Mojo it's a strange argument that he deserves this award as he's less scummier than Bush and Blair. It'll make an interesting Presidential campaign if he goes for it, " New lower scum, with lower hypocrisy, for a better life". Anyway if I want to watch some fiction I'll go and watch a Harry Potter film and at least the writer of that isn't the double of a constipated hamster. Some people are impacted in such cruel ways. A friend of mine frequently relies on her albuterol inhaler. The former propellant was outlawed and the replaced propellant (which delivers the mist into her bronchii and lungs) boosted the price from $11. to $53.

Tosser, that's not my argument, but never mind. This was good news to me in a sea of despair. I should not have posted this ballot. My bad. Voted : HALLELUJAH! The Supreme Court will probably help Bush steal this from him, too. I think Al deserves it. Voted : HALLELUJAH! I threw my back out dancing for joy when I saw it on the morning news. Two thumbs way up for Al! WOW! First the Internet. Now the Nobel Peace Prize. Maybe he should run for President.

sorry Beelze, but I have to be honest.. I'm ashamed of knowing you. I agree with some regarding his hypocritical nature i.e greenhouse gases increased while he was v.p, Kyoto didn't get signed when he was v.p, his jet-setting lifestyle is counter to the cause. But he has raised awareness more than any other single individual.

I'm sorry to hear that, Jyl. I'm also sorry to hear that his son got busted speeding and doing a bunch of drugs. And when he was bailed out of jail, his sister picked him up in a Maserati Quattroporte. I guess when it comes to hypocrites, I'm just not ready to drink their Kool-Aid.

I don't care how you feel about Al Gore, but you've made it clear that you carry it over to not believing people need to change to help the Earth. Anti-environmentalists are super-cool at B&W though, keep it up, get real loud with it. Heck make an Earth-hating ballot! And be sure to add something abut Al Gore to it to help make the point. I realized what you meant with your ballot, you wizard. I've seen how important it is to you to fight environmentalists. That you think someone who cares about the actual planet is really "preaching" down to you just tells something about You, not about people who care about ALL OF OUR physical future. Really, keep on amazing me with your wit, I'm learning from you and it's been interesting to share the wizards of B&W's opinions at other sites :) Hey I know what :) If you wanna say I'm "preaching" then am I allowed to say you're whining? global warming is a multi faceted issue.
