It is happening in India. A social activist, has sit on a hunger strike, to force the government to pass a strong ombudsman bill.

The bill by this social activist and his ilk is not feasible under Indian constitution. The social activist is not ready to listen, he says he is following Gandhi. It is another fact of the matter that Gandhi never used hunger strike against British, though he used non cooperation.

Would you allow a social activist in your country to undermine the senate and House of house of representatives to bring a bill that might do good for your country?
