Voted : Muammar Gaddafi
Albeit his is akin to Czar Nicholas II's, in that his assassination was more a product of history radically changing course than it did to change history in itself. Still, I remember reading in 2009 how the west was to experience a period of rapprochement with his regime in the 2010s; I was happier to see him shot, lynched and sadistically violated like he was. In the information age I've seen a couple graphic videos of the caliber of that which came out of Sirte on October 20th 2011; gaddafi's were the only ones in which I felt increasingly better about humanity through the duration.
I think the Attempted Assassination fo Adolf Hitler is was very influential. Hitler became a made man and murdered a further 2.5 million people in his holocaust doubling the killing frenzy. I think it is portrayed a lot in movies too.

I also think the execution of Czar Nicolas was very important as it gave rise to Communism. Communism was at one point more powerful than the Western world 1940-1960's. The USSR has greatly changed the war through Cold War Proxy wars with the US. Millions have died in Vietnam, Korea, Africa, South America and the Middle East.

Voted : Franz Ferdinand
Had he not been killed, there would have been no WWI, no WWII, and no Cold War.
Voted : Yitzhak Rabin
^I don't know Bostonian, I've always felt it was just seized on as a pretense for inevitable war with Serbia, the WMD of its day if you will. If you took away the nationalism, the militarism and the imperialism in early 20th century Austria-Hungary it would have never snowballed like it did.
