There were many Gypsies who were killed and that is an under reported number. Then Nazis killed Jehovah's Witness, homosexuals, Serbians ...The number is always an estimate. The number 6 million Jews doesn't mean all were killed in concentration camps but the total Jews killed in ww2. In WW2, a total of 60 million people were killed. 27390 people per day, every day without a break for 6 years. Is that really possible? Voted : Yes But would it really matter if they weren't? The initial death toll estimate of Anders Breivik's massacre was much higher than it was in actuality, but once it was revised it didn't change the fact he was cold blooded mass murderer. Some people who ask this question... its almost like they need to vindicate the Nazis. Nothing will ever change the fact that the Nazis alleged the Jews posed a moral threat to the German nation so that the Nazis could justify posing such a threat to Jewish Germans and other ethnicities that conflicted with their narrow definition of who was a German, they will always be condemned to the ash heap of history. Actually the Nazis really didnt start getting Busy until 1943. In 1943 the Nazis knew they were losing the war and they knew they had to accomplish there mark on history for eternity. On average 10,000-15,000 People were being killed in the Nazis concentration camps. The deaths due to germany from 1939-1943 were 2 million. By the next two years killing had doubled. I estimate that 7.5 million jews were killed and its a undersetimate. Why do people forget that the Nazis killed another 6,000,000 Slavics, Poles, Russians,Gays, Handicapped and religious people in these camps. Voted : Yes Well there was an extimated 6 millions Jews killed. But that is only less than half the story. The National Socialists killed more than 13 million people. That iswhy it is considered such a horrible event. The True toll is 15 million in the NAZI genocide. |
