Two recent stories in the news concern women being fired for past employment.

One was working as a reporter for newspaper who was fired after someone ratted to her boss that she and previously worked as a stripper and did not list it on her job application.

Another incident of a Women school teacher who in the past appeared in several porn films was fired when someone brought it to the attention of school officials.

Should women who worked in porn or as strippers in the past, to get money for a college degree, be fired from their jobs and be refused employment because of their past occupations?

Voted : Depends On What Present Job Is
If her present job has no particularly "morality" component, e.g., church secretary or maybe an elementary school teacher or the like, then I don't think it should matter, especially if it has been a long time since she held the offending job.
I meant to say, unless her present job has a "morality component" to it, it shouldn't matter.
