I don't drink. No, really, I don't drink. But I do cook with liquor sometimes. So one Sunday morning I popped over to the store so I could get ingredients for the day's meals. They told me that I can't buy SHERRY before noon. If I was buying beer I could understand, but SHERRY? How about where you live?

No, we can buy liquor anytime here in Pensacola FL, although I have seen places in Alabama where it is not sold on Sudays at all.

all of kentucky is way hodgepodgey on alcohol sales...in one county is a hanging offence and 15 miles away they make millions of gallons of bourbon whiskey...heck you can't buy booze in some of the places where they MAKE the stuff...it's pretty effed up.

I live in Ohio. We can't buy liquor at all on Sunday, and we can't even buy beer or wine before 1PM.

Lexington, Kentucky here. We can't buy any kind of alcohol at all on Sunday. Kinda funny since we make so much of it.

Those restrictions are mostly in the "Bible Belt" states. In Oregon, they sell the hard stuff only in liquor stores but they have opened up selected stores for Sunday sales.

Colonel Angus,here in New England package stores cannot be open on Sundays(save NH,"live free or die") and you cannot purchase beer in the super markets.Super markets here don't even carry hard liquor.If you are out of sauce you will have to drive to a bar,drink and then drive home.These stupid laws exist all over the US.
