Ali was too fast for Tyson. And he could absorbe the blows like anybody else. And he was too clever too- Tyson would have finished the match K.O. after some rounds, without undertsanding what happened tyson in his prime was also very quick. in fact, his quickness gave him his knockout power. Ali--not even close. Styles make fights. Tyson's style was perfect Ali. Just check out the Ali's fight with Cleveland Williams. Ali is the only fighter I ever saw who could fight effectively going backwards. Let's face it, Tyson was worthless--he didn't beat anyone. Ali had courage and brains--Tyson has neither.

Ali all the way. Tyson was nowhere near as good as Foreman was when Ali outclassed the steak grilling palooka. Ali said, "I am the greatest!", and he was.

Ali was awesome, no doubt. But when you watch Tyson fight in his prime he's just as quick as Ali. Difference is Tyson does NOT fuck around, Tyson sees the chance for the takedown before it even appears. 3, maybe 4 hits from Tyson and Ali is out cold. Hmm.... after just having now watched a couple clips of old school tyson fights. Make that TWO hits from tyson and ali is out. the guy's insane Tyson was an animal in his prime. Almost a perfect boxer. Just look at some of his fights when he was in his prime. Ali is famous more for his big mouth then anything.

i used to think the same thing, that tyson was the best of all time, but now, having seen a the 'rope a dope' fight, I don't think so. Remember this also, George Foreman hit just as hard, if not harder than Tyson, and Ali dispatched Foreman. Ali was a smarter fighter who would have used a number of techniques to defeat Tyson. Mike Tyson's reputation was devastating to opponents, that 'oh god why am I even in the ring' sort of mentality, that wouldn't have worked against Ali, in fact, Ali would have been in Tyson's head terrible by talking shit before the fight haha. Tyson is a crazed animal but Ali was very slick. I think he would have danced around and stung like he usually did and eventually a TKO. I don't think you can knock Tyson out as he seems to have no brain. Complete bullshit, George Foreman had sledgehammers for fists, in his prime he would have destroyed Tyson, and we all saw what Ali did to Foreman in the so called 'Rumble in the Jungle' MIKE TYSON OF COURSE! HIS TECHNIQUE IS FLAWLESS. LOOK AT TYSONS RECORd # of KOs in FIRST ROUND ALI WAS GOOD FOR HIS TIME BUT WOULD CRUMBLE UNDER TYSON'S POWER PUNCH. Ali- he would have danced around the ring and jabbed Tyson to the canvas. What a fight it would have been!

Ali would taken Tyson apart so perfectly it would have been poetry in motion. Also, Ali was not a convicted rapist, did not brag about mugging people and didn't end up a penniless thug. |
