Very good question. I am guilty of changing my views when there's a convincing enough argument to refute them. But it has to be a damn good argument. Great ballot. Most people are closed-minded to the facts, no matter how convincing the argument. Case in point- the '04 election. I question my beliefs all the time, I still very uncertain, but lean more at this time toward the faith I was brought up as. People say I rationalize when confronted with evolution and the sciectific evidence, but I don't think it's rationalizing, I think it's being able to incorporate the 2. Some might call me a hypocrite, but hey, that's my right, leave me alone. With the politics, I have totally changed my views about Bush , I still consider myself more of a conservative than liberal, but so many things The President has done, that I have major problems with.

I think it depends upon the individual's predispostion to logic. Some poeple are logical and quite accepting of new evidence, some are not. Very good ballot. ^This isn't a bad argument, but are you saying that things like logic are inherent? Kind of genetic?
