Mormonism certainly encompasses some controversial tenets, even for a religion; some of these include baptizing the dead, hidden Abrahamic texts discovered in upstate New York, spiritual underwear, and the assertion that Indigenous Peoples of the Americas were originally Israelites the mormon god exiled to the new world and "cursed" with dark skin.

While I believe mormons have every right to believe what they believe and to practice their faith unhindered, I all but view it in a favourable light, and can't help but question the judgement and cognitive abilities of anyone who would consciously subscribe to it in adulthood; is someone who believes homosexuality to be a mental illness really fit to be answering that proverbial 3 AM phone call?
