I heard this being debated on the radio this morning and thought it was an interesting topic. Apparently, some people feel that since artists have not earned their popularity through politics, they should not speak their views publicly. I think that's bull, a lot of them feel that's their purpose, like any politician. They're just using a different medium. Singing, speaking... I don't see much of a difference. Anyway, what do you think?
