Essentially, the Patriot Act "attacked our freedom," ignoring the rights granted to us of the following: having a lawyer and a speedy trial, preventing search and seizure without just cause -- all granted in the Bill of Rights.

It's the right-wingers' desire to control.

They knew no better -- they didn't read the Patriot Act.
