There was a segment on 20/20 one time about how women won't date short men. They got 5 men together with 1 of them short, and made of profiles for each one. The short guy's profile was pumped up: wealthy, high IQ, business owner, etc. The other 4 were given average or above average profiles. They then brought many groups of women in to secretly view the men while reading the profiles. Once they were done reading they were asked which of the 5 men they would be interested in dating. Time and time again no women picked the short guy, even though he had the most to offer. When asked why they didn't consider the short guy, they had no explanation. The conclusion was that it's a genetic bias that women have since passing on the genes of a bigger and stronger male would better ensure the continuation of the species. Well Women, why don't YOU date short men?
