That's quite a change. This actor went from a strong supporting role in silent film "The Wind" in 1928 to playing a bit part in anti-marijuana camp classic "Reefer Madness" just eight years later (1936). "The Wind" was directed by the great Victor Sjöström and starred Lillian Gish in an atmospheric tale of murder and madness that's widely regarded by many film critics as one of the ten greatest silent films. On the other hand, "Reefer Madness" is one of the most unintentionally hilarious and incompetent low-budget propaganda films ever made, as clean-cut all-American kids take one or two hits of reefer and suddenly become deranged, paranoid fiends, who ask their victims to play the piano, "Faster! Faster! FASTER!" More hilarity and death follow.
