Have you ever seen what a Doberman's ears look like before they're cropped? Probably not, unless you breed them. It is commonplace for all Dobies to have their ears cropped. Is that cruel, or is there some extenuating circumstance about which I'm unaware?

Yes it's cruel. I think floppy ears are cute.
