I've noticed that the US has taken some flak lately for not being as interested in soccer as the rest of the world.

Fine, we aren't.

But we also don't riot, assualt police and each, and burn cars over soccer matches either.

We have riots after football games from time to time, but they seem to pale in comparison to the intensity and frequence of soccer riots in other nations (particularly nations in europe and south america it seems).

So while the US may be portrayed as not enthusiastic enough, does it seem that many nations are overly enthusiastic about this game?

Yes, they are a little too enthusiastic about it

No, rioting is the appropriate way to show team spirit, americans should join in on the violence
