No, you are wildly mistaken. Black culture and slang is present throughout pretty much every facet of white society today, particularly the youth. Its the white race that has lost any sense of a "white culture". Probably not,it looks the opposite actually!

Can someone actually tell me what actually represents the so called white culture? I was born white, a purely chance occurence, and I didnt think we had a culture. I suppose you could say Shakepeare and such, but I'm not sure its really relevant.

^ Ok Steel, you're right. White people have no culture. We are a shallow race, without the "soul" of black people, or the mystery and intensity of the orient. We lack the salsa of the Medditeranean or the passion of the Italians. We are generic anglo saxon rooted base units who live and die with no real purpose to our shallow little animal lives. We are a cancer in the worlds gene pool, contributing nothing, creating nothing, merely consuming like insatiable parasites. Dont you just wish you werent white, and had some culture like the other races? I see more whites who want to be black than blacks who want to be white. Listening to rap and being white or being black and listening to rock doesnt change your culture. Its just a style same as how the hippies were. In 30 years there will be a new kind of music and a new kind of style. Races don't have cultures. Ethnic groups have cultures. Also, African-Americans aren't a race, either. Although, I wish Hip-Hop culture would disappear totally. Just because blacks stop wearing afros does not mean they are selling out their culture or are trying to act white.It just means that their style has changed for God's sake.I don't see many southerns wearing mullets anymore does that mean that southerns are trying to act like us yankees? I think culture is more important than race. As long as you revere your cultural background, you'll more than likely not be an asshole. That's been my observation. White people arent a race, they are a collection of different cultures. Im of Irish/Scots origin so my culture is different from and Italian or a German. Far too many white and black people obsessed with their origins, just get on with people, it isnt hard if you make a small effort.

That would mean they would kill less, speak better english, graduate from school more, stop getting pregnant at 17, spend less time in jail, grow up with some manners and respect other people's property, start being responsible parents, etc. You get the picture. Grapost, did it ever occur to you that there are many black people that does not, have not, and do not engage in any of the activities you always seem to apply to the entire population of blacks? You have a serious problem of blaming many for actions of those who I am sure are not responsible for what others do. the greatest crimes in recorded history are not committed by blacks but I don't blame you yet based on some of your observations you are not part of any solution.

Steelhamster is, again, correct: I am not aware of any race possessing a culture. This is usually a more National- based attribute, involving language and customs. Since no race, to my knowledge, is confined to any one country, how can they have a 'culture?' Then again ... xenophobia knows no national boundaries. sooth: Seeing as how the black race has a very wide geographic base, I think it would be over- generalizing to make such theory, based solely on local observation. Im pretty sure that Adidas and Nike were companies started by white people who pay the best Sports players to represent their clothing and shoe lines. Even in Japan they have styles that Black hip hop artists take and call their own. Even in Rap and Hip Hop music video's I have seen Black Dancer girls dresed in Emo' princess' clothes and Punk clothes as well. I guess what Im saying is that People want to be cool, rich, gangster, and that the culture of America and Canada is really a bastard mix of everyone elses culture world round. And as far as Blacks wanting to be white lt me just put this one out there are whites wanting to be asian? I have seen many white guys with Asian girls and many Asian guys with white girls. I see it more as the ''Races'' are becomeing less afrraid of eachother and more open minded to interracial relationships. Rap music has become the new "cool" music just with a new style to it.
