Australia has an Aboriginal culture that is known to date back 40,000 years? Voted : China iraq The question remains: what is the world's oldest COUNTRY, not its oldest civilization.. There's a difference. Fucking Bullshit. The first orgainzed country is not Japan. Japan was organized in 500 BC. Egypt was organized in 3000 BC but was broken into many dynasties. Do those Dynasties count as endings. Egypt is the oldest civilization still around today. Mesopatamia is 1500 years older than egypt. The oldest country is Japan I guess. wow.
