people get gastric band surgery to lose weight.

But what if you brainwashed yourself into thinking that you had that surgery?

just taking spoonfuls of food, just like if you had the band, can make you lose weight.

I am going through something similar, I haven't had a complete meal in weeks. The women I go out with for dinner are totally embarassed/shocked that I eat 1/4 of what they eat.

could you convince yourself that you had this surgery done, and not eat as much, and lose weight?

it's possible
no, because it's impossible
Gastric Band, I hate their music.

In theory it would work. The hard part would be convincing yourself that you had a surgery that you didn't have.

I hope you're taking your Centrum, young man.

With the gastric band procedure, your stomach area is decreased so that you get full on very little food. You would get way too hungry eating that little but with a regular sized stomach.
