what if : technology : WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE HUMAN RACE BECOMING IMMORTAL IF WE DEVELOP THE TECHNOLOGY TO DE-MATERIALIZE AND RE-MATERIALIZE LIVING HUMAN BEINGS?

Just think about what could be if such a technology came into being.
We could become immortal when you think about the technology that would have to be used to make such a thing possible.
Now some people will say "I don't want to be immortal" but there would be many other benefits of such technology.
To begin with, if we could do this, then all the information about your complete makeup would have to be stored in computer memory with back up of course and the computer could be programmed to keep you at maybe the physical age of 25 every time you were de materialized and re materialized.
Others benefits would be the ability to once and for all wipe out all human diseases and correct de-formities form birth or injuries and could be used for instant body repair and every one could have the body that they always wished for and never be overweight again.
Please leave mention of the Philadelphia experiment out of this ballot as it not publically proven technology. thanks

Immortality is to much for a human. Human greed will find a way to spoil the gift of Immortaility. We would need to find other planets to colonize because with no old people dieing overpopulation would get out of hand in 5 years after publizising immoratality. It would be great for me but living 75 years is a very long time. Now imagine 150 years or 400 years or 890 years or 2 millenias. If people lived to a 1000 the probability is most people would die violent deaths or accidental deaths rather than natural. In that 1000 years something is bound to happen to you right.

It would be great if that hapened but we would have another problem; overpopulation. We would have to colonize fast r something else to stop that problem.

It would be great if we had this technology and stopped breeding. I have no interest in breeding, but apparently many people do.
