ReD, hmmm, kick ball into goal with people in the way or CARRY ball into goal with people tackling you? Yes, soccer is vastly more difficult.

ever been slammed into the wall or kicked in the face with a ball the the size of a melon? and btw you can tackle in soccer In soccer, the main way of tackling is basicly swinging your boot at the ball, ive been kicked in the shins, stomach and face so many times by misjuged tackles...it hurts alot more that the ball smacking your face red queen, but profesional players are better at tackling than amertures, so theres not asmuch hurting on what you see on TV.

it isn't 'European' football it is just Football. The only place in the entire world that refuses to accept this is the USA. I tihnk that a player of any game simply has to be stonger and faster than the guy hes playin in order to sucseed in his sport...

ReD, I wasn't talking about slide-tackling. I'm talking about 2 guys going full speed, one with the intend to knock the hell out of the other.

Lazy_N_Crazy - this stronger & faster idea of yours may work in American sports but Football is more focused on skill and talent. Being fast and strong may be and advantage but it doesn't have the same impact it has in gay sports like American football. Coaches! What a ridiculous concept! Why should we expect to see specialized skill or technique when we can have the ability to run? Unlike soccer, football involves some STRATEGY. Complaining about a football punt when your entire game is basically punting is hilarious.

JETHRO, I suppose you think Britney Spears is the best music in the world and McDonalds makes the best food. What's most popular has to be the best, right? Guest2eb13, basketball doesn't have physical contact? What do you think happens in the lane?

Idiots, Canada and Europe have ( American ) football leagues to. They just all SUCK! Er... America isn't the only country that when you say 'football' you mean something different to 'soccer'. In Australia we call American football Gridiron and European football soocer. We usually don't say 'football'. Most of the time we say 'footy' and footy (or football) can mean rugby league, Australian rules or rugby union. American football is a lame version of rugby.
