I see alot of those lately and in general alot of comercials for joining the Army, Navy etc... I cant believe how some people still believe what they promote in these commercials. They make it seem like you are about to join a disney cruise ship and travel the world. They show a couple of hot girls having fun reloading the next Sidewinder missle and I guess they hope that will turn you on in some way. Folks, this is just plain false advertising. I think they shouldnt be allowed to advertise it in this manner. They dont mention a thing about how you might lose your life or the reality of what they do. The only places you will travel and see are abandoned deserts and minefields. It's not fun, very serious risky bussiness.

Yes, they need to be truthful

No, lying is the only way people will join

They should be banned from promoting all together.

They are desperate. Ban 'em.

i dont see any of those fast food commercials getting banned for their false advertising, why should the military ones be treated differently?? hahahahaha.

They never advertise fast food as being healthy. They just say it tastes good. aside from that, fast food doesnt get people killed, not instantly atleast.

I haven't had a MacDonalds for months now. I feel good. Justin Trousersnake does the song for the ad. Bletch. What a fucking talentless, unprincipled media whore he is. Is there an Advertising Standards Authority in America? I've always been tempted to complain about lying ads. I try not ot watch them but they creep up on you. They are evil!

i do agree, the military is a more dangerous job than aeting fast food. sadly false advertizing will always be around, i dont think there is anything we could really do about it.

Did anyone ever take serious notice of the "Star of David" that is engraved on the ceremonial sword of the US Marine Corps? I never knew it was a Jewish organization.

I did a bit of checking, and the 'Star of David' appears on the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard swords as well. So much for beating swords into plowshares, I guess.
