yes well when you watch some sports it does seem like war, and not just the players, the fans aswell having rivalries with rival cities or countries.

I don't think any nation sees it as a sport. That's right. They don't draft people between 18 and 34 to compete in the 100 metres.

I'm not sure if any *Nations* do, but alarmingly large numbers of people appear to. oh geez, get real. it's the biggest game in town! I can't wait for las vegas to start offering up point spreads in the form of body counts. all this jingoistic hog-doody camouflaged as patriotism makes my ass twitch. o.k. todays quiz: who said "the only difference between civilization and chaos is three meals and twenty-four hours"?
