Whoa whoa whoa. 'Quiet Riot-Cum On Feel The Noize and' 'Judas Priest - You Got Another Thing Coming' aren't heavy metal. The Quiet Riot song is heavy rock but the Judas Priest one is light rock. Best heavy metal song ever would be Metallica's Master of puppets. My other favorites include System of a down's 'cigaro' and strapping young lad's 'Love?'. U-fuckin-2? I went to a conservative fundamentalist Christian school from elementary through high school. In elementary, if you listened to Quiet Riot, you were a bad-ass and had to hide the tape so your parents wouldn't find it. After elementary, it was Metallica, AC/DC or Guns and Roses. And come on, now, Judas Priest is metal. Def Leppard is not. They started on the road to metal with their first album, then quickly got way too slick, overproduced, and teenie-bopper friendly to count as metal. "Let's get rocked" may be one of the worst songs ever recorded. Eventually, the only thing metal about them was the one-armed drummer. umm.. Liberal_democrat.. First of all, Bringin' on the heart break is by Def Leppard, not Judas Priest. Second of all, Judas Priest IS heavy metal. Sorry, they are NOT light rock. And I would like to know how System of a down falls under heavy metal?!! U2 IA NOT FUCKING HEAVY MEATLE!!!!!! AND IT NEVER WILL BE!! THEY SUCK! No Megadeth?! All of the "Rust in Peace" album should be there. While U2 may not be a heavy metal band, the two songs listed here ARE heavy metal. U2 is world-famous for experimenting with different sounds and music, so why NOT heavy metal? hm...love you to death by type o negative,pull me under by dt, thunder march by marty friedman, trust by megadeth,dead of the night by medicis.. among the ones i can remember..

I do not consider classic metal bands such as AC/DC, and Black Sabbath Metal. I consider it classic rock. My favorite heavy metal band is Like Light to the Flies - Trivium. hard to say. well metallica has some hits: master of puppets and justice for all the call of ktulu one enter sandman i think metallica has like 10-12 great metal songs. i'd say metallica are the best in the amount of great songs they provided , no more then that... reign and blood Slade? Oh, boy... we're really "thrashing" now aren't we! Why didn't "Number of the Beast" get on the list?

Eat Dick, Drink Piss - ICP I still remember being at the bar where they were playing when I heard that song. It was the funniest shit I've ever seen. There were probably a couple hundred highschool and college kids there. All of the girls were up at the front screaming at the top of their lungs along with the band, "Eat dick, drink piss!!!" I laughed the whole night. Good times... Voted : fade to black-Metallica this vote is shit, i don't give a fuck that u2 tried to write a "heavy metal"song it's NOT metal, how would any of you's feel if you were in say slayer,metallica or even fucking slipknot and a bunch of arena pop sellout fucks like u2 write 1 or 2 heavy songs and then get put in the same class as you that's just fucked up....anyway enough whingeing there is still quite a few decent tracks there my fave would have to be fade to black that song is heavy in so many different ways lyrically and musically and wolfmother are no were near metal there a second rate led zeppelin rip off band homo fucks
