Sometimes I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Secondary question: WHY WOULD MEDICAID PAY FOR ANYONE'S VIAGRA?? Is this a life-saving drug, by any stretch of the imagination? I just got an update on this: Medicaid is no longer paying for their viagra. Rapists and pedophiles getting released still get the prescriptions though, I think.

DIABOLUS ADVOCATUS) (devil's advocate) WHY WOULD MEDICAID PAY FOR ANYONE'S VIAGRA?? 1. Medicaid is Federally aided, State-operated and administered program that provides medical benefits for certain indigent or low-income persons in need of health and medical care. 2. Erectile dysfunction is a serious problem and Viagra has been proven to alleviate the problem. Low income individuals are entitled to it. Sex is part of a healthy life and that's why Medicaid pays for it. 3. Technically, those individuals paid for their crime and cannot be continually punished. Hence, they cannot be denied medication which is on Medcaids list of acceptable medications. (just food for thought) 4. UNFORTUNATELY, while sex offenders are put in a separate population, I can pretty much guarantee you that every single one of those individuals was raped repeatedly. You think they were screwed up then, well just imagine how screwed up they are now--and they have viagra!

Ahhh socialized medicine for ya... Sounds like someone at Medicaid has been sniffing hot glue. I know of people with serious medical conditions who don't even QUALIFY for Medicaid (MYSELF among them), while THIS- WHEW. I need a nap. Of course free medical care is everyones sacred right. You can't take it away simply because you don't like the person, or you feel the medicine is unnecessary. Truth: but how could that be? It's administered by the government with money taken from evil rich people, by all logic this program should work flawlessly. Isn't that why we should try to get the government to take over more programs, get more funding, and broaden the definition of just who is an evil rich person deserving of punishment? What next, a free pass to the next school camping trip to try out the new meds, FFS, shouldnt these people not be INHIBITED instead of being given a helping hand to indulge their sick fetish??? why do these pervs need viagra anyway??
