Hmm... you can't beat just plain old water! For everyone who is not a competitive athelete, I'd hazard they are unnecessary, at best, probably unhealthy for most. They contain guarana, a natural form of caffeine, to make you think you've got lots of "energy". And they contain taurine, a strong diuretic, to make you think you're losing weight. I would not use them. They are probably not good for someone who has high blood pressure.

Voted : They're healthy I love them, they do have vitamins in them i think... healthy or not, they give you that boost you need for working out, playing sports, staying up late on saturday nights!

Voted : They're both healthy and unhealthy I believe any source that accelerates the metabolism soley by medication (caffeine, amphetamines, etc.) is bad. However, increasing metabolism or energy by using bio-available fuel (herbs and caloric carb/protein food, B vitamins) can be good

It has to do with how offten you drink them. Also if a person becomes dependent on the drink it can be just as bad as alcohol

i think that energy drinks are so unhealthy anf they should make more that are a little less enriched in sugar and sodium
