yes good idea I was just thinking aloud. It would a impediment to free speech. Maybe I'll just "strongly suggest" that people refrain from it. refrain from making racist remarks that is.... Definitely not! I prefer to know what kind of individuals I'm around. And more disturbing on this site is the sick and violent references and descriptions directed towards women. Want to clean it up and make it better? Require registration. Other than that... you can't cure the world of it's ills by simply masking it. Although the idea is very commendable... :-) This site is by halves excellent and puerile. You sometimes come across a poll where the comments are well thought out and the arguments for and against are rigorously debated.....then you get the polls where certain members make idiotic or asanine comments that exasperate you. Im not sure how you can sort out the wheat from the chaff, so I guess its a case of trawling through the rubbish to find the odd pearl of wisdom here or there.

That's gotta be the single dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'm not racist, but when liberal pussies try to force everyone else to be politically correct, it pisses me off. I can use offensive language if I want to. "All faggots should be shot!" I'm bisexual and I think people should be able to say that if they want to. If you hate racist expression, I guess you hate America and its freedom. You don't... hate... America, do you? Oh, sorry I called you a pussy. In the crazy world of censored political correctness now no object in the universe can be black or white. Only grey. Now outer space and the night sky will be grey. No ones favorite color can be black or white. You can't describe anything black or white. Anyone with black or white in their name must now be grey. Black and white are now swear words. Welcome to the Orwellian future folks! Chill out everyone. I said I was just thinking aloud... Geez. I guess I should just let the evolution sort out the racists. and Felix, I come from a long line of rednecks, and I don't see those ballots nearly as offensive as those advocating mass killing of jews and blacks. Well, LCD, one reason you don't find anti-southern polls as offensive might be that the media has taught you that it's ok to make fun of "rednecks". I live in Kentucky, and I don't like being put in the same category as a bunch of inbred eleven-toed slack-jawed yokels. Also, I tend to be offended by homophobic polls. But I would rather educate bigots than silence them by force. If they refuse to be educated, then we have no choice but to let them speak out. America! One of the problems with this is that it would block out the words "black" and "white" when one is simply referring to color, and not race.

Methinks you got me wrong there, Felix. Making fun, whether it be white or black - is one thing. Killing and genocide, either white or black, is a entirely another. Disturbing thing I see on this website is that there are ballots that suggest "killing blacks and jews", and I am saying that is much offensive than the word "redneck" (I live in Arizona- land of the sun - you should see my neck in the summer) As for Beverly Hillbillies, I believe that was made in the sixties, and the reason it's not being shown on Tv anymore is that some found it offensive - even though that show didn't make generalization of an entire group of people based on skin color. and that's precisely my point "I can't stand double standards" as you put it. That's why I can't stand racism. One additional point, has anyone ever noticed that "Prince of Bel Air" is the today's version of "Beverly Hillbillies" cleaned up for hte nineties? LCD -- I wouldn't employ the filter you're suggesting here just because it would often inadvertently filter things that shouldn't be filtered AND because it could be easily avoided by just typing "blaack" instead of "black," etc. Already on here once I had a poll rejected (along with a "warning" that racism won't be tolerated) that wasn't racist at all but simply included a word that could be taken as racist in a given context. So no, I don't care much for the filters. It is still curious to me, however, why this site has so many racists--or at least people that seem overly interested in "race-related issues" (typically of the ilk regarding the decline of "white power" and such) given the fact that you claim to "hate racism" yourself. Do you think perhaps these individuals are drawn to your site because of your very rejection of their ideas? Or is it just to screw with you and others on the site? I can't imagine that throughout the nation as a whole, as many people as this site would suggest seriously fret day in and day out about Jews taking over the world or "black savages" bringing down the white race and all the other stuff I regularly read on here. Seems like a small number of people who are either truly into such things or just think it's funny found your site early on and have stuck around--and perhaps drawn more through Google searches and the like. Instead of "grey people", have them all referred to as "giraffes", just for comedic value.

i hate racism and what it causes.did any of us have a problem with race when we were 7 years old?i know i didnt.it is hard though when you get older you see all of the stereotypes come true.i dont know about you but i have better things to worry about then someones race or religious background. racism is a tool of the uneducated.get out and learn! let the racists talk--well rant--it's part of the totally open package here. well i'm not sure---the giraffe thing is pretty good....giraffes and squirrels! Voted : Yes, interesting idea. If you change words, then in time those will eventually become the new slurs. Or people will make up their own, or some crap like that. Best just to censor out existing words, and ban users who can't seem to get it through their thick skulls. Just my opinion, anyway...
