Hello neighbor, I'm Cathexis, who are you?

Just a note to let folks know I am moving on.

I have recently become aware that I had become too casual in my interactions with some of the site community. While the folks here have been entirely honorable and above- board, I realize that the line between 'harmless banter' and flirting can be too grey -- at least for a married guy, such as myself. And it has slowly dawned on me that offline communications with site members, even if entirely casual and innocent, can't always be differentiated (by others) from 'meeting women on the Internet.' And if I can't effectively explain why I am having offline communication with someone, that tells me I probably shouldn't be.

For me, the existence of personal integrity and honour is not enough without the accompanying appearance, and I have been overly lax in that regard. Any B&W ladies that may have my off-site contact info, please discard. No offense intended, but it's not appropriate for us to be communicating like that. At the risk of sounding sexist -- guys, you are still OK (well, at least with e-mail).

This has been a fun website and there are a lot of engaging people here. However, I can't continue any involvements that call into question my personal integrity or sense of commitment, so I've decided to move on. This site kept me sane during the horror of The Bush Years (you knew I'd get a last dig in!) and I'll always be grateful to all of you for that (including the Apologists and Kool Aid drinkers [smile:wink]). I feel I had become enough a part of the community that I owed you a note on this decision. Best wishes to all -- LCD, you came up with a great innovation and I hope B&W continues to carve its niche on the 'Net.
