After I got divorced, I wanted to go back to using my maiden name, but daughter didn't want me to. She said that she didn't want to be one of those kids who has a mom with a different last name. Fine. So for years, I kept my married name for her sake.

Today, I finally went and got a new drivers license and was able to do a name change. I am now officially who I once was! Let's celebrate!!

p.s. The picture on my license actually looks pretty good for once.

And I'm *jealous* because you have a decent pic. Mine looks as though I was hit six times with a shovel between the eyes...

And no, I'm *not* really a Superman fan. Even when I was a kid, I had no trouble accepting four heroes who could ignite into living flame, become invisible, turn into rock and stretch like taffy, but a guy who was able to move the planet? Nope. Sorry.
