Tomorrow is the first appearence of Cardiff City in the FA Cup since they won in 1927. It's been a golden age for Cardiff recently. We've got a Millennium Stadium, the Millennium Centre, the Welsh Assembly and in 2005 we had a double celebration; 100 years as a city and 50 years as Capital of Wales. 2005 was of course the year that Doctor Who returned to TV, and it was made in Cardiff, which was also the setting of the Adult spin-off Torchwood. We're alo the birthplace of Dalek/Blake's 7 creator Terry Nation, Roald Dahl and Superted so we have a claim to be "Sci-Fi capital of Britain"
