I'm so sorry.
You must be in terrible pain to have to have surgery--again. What a bummer. Hope it works this time. Take care.

Yes
it's the same disc that was operated on previously. There has been a long gap between surgeries, so that is in my favour for a (fingers crossed) quick recovery from the operation. Have to get it done because it is seriously affecting my mobility.
