woohoo that looks cool. Those people who are standing around are pretty much a bag full of saltwater, if they were caught in that they would need tweezers to recover their bodies.
I sometimes make a living cleaning out dead animals from high voltage equipment. Now I know how they might have died... |

there's actually a clip of a squirrel getting roasted on a 10kV line! I won't post that though, there are squirrel lovers' here...lol |

I need that kind of jolt... When I get 'Stim' at physical therapy.
OK maybe not that high.
But the machine is set to the highest level when I get 'Stim'. |

not so cool when you're the guy who threw the switch! You'd be surprised how fast a lineman can run and how easily loud noises spook them.
Saw a news clip of a switch that failed here recently - big ball of fire rolling skyward....no one wants to be near one when that happens. i've seen the result of a lot of electrical "events" and heard the first hand stories - but i sure don't want to be a close-up observer. |
