according to my webstats, this site gets about 150k hits on a good day, mostly from web spiders (yes, it has millions of individual pages, so it is expected)

most we ever got was over 250k pages.

I recently modified the referral pages for people to invite others to the site, by sending them an email with a ballot embedded in it.

try sending some interesting ballots to people you know.

I would love to see 250k hits a day, which would mean my ranking would actually show up on alexa.

this site was once 9000th most popular site on the web. let's see if we can get it there, without guest entries.

to the naysayers, ever since I stopped taking abusers and spammers hitting the site via guest entry, the traffic has been actually increasing for the last 6 months.

title You know one thing that would improve this site dramatically and improve the way ballots are debated is access to outside links. I know you have had issues with this in the past but I think it essential. EVERY debate site I have used had the facility for this. It's the one thing that puts me off debating with people who just say "no it isnt" or "theres lots of evidence" without ever having to prove anything. It makes serious debate almost impossible.
