I will probably finish this today.

idea behind it is that we always gained users from those who contributed as a guest before registering.

but due to the abuse by certain maniacs, I had to remove that feature.

this time, it will be implemented differently. The ballots that guests make will be available for guest choices and comments but they will not be shown on any list - so unless they invite other people to come and make comments and whatnot, the ballot will just wither away. Of couse one of the superusers will be able to promote that ballot under their own name, just like before.

hopefully that will increase people who are visiting this site. the last 3 months have seen stagnation and decrease in the number of hits on this site.

Do you know why? Seriously?
Peeps who go on the internet and type for 10 mins tend to get pissed off when the results don't show up when they press enter. Just like what happened when I made a ballot tonight.

Maybe it was caused by the fact I was using a proxy because you blocked my ip lol which is most of blueyonder uk, which again is only 80% of all the broadband users in the uk. stagnation yeah.. Go LCD! :o)

nope, there's no block
so it must all be inside your head... if I did block your ip it was after a particularly nasty episode of abuse, and it's not "all the blueyonder", it's just you. And no, I didn't do it because I hate you, it's done automatically by the script.

if you let me know what IP address you are on, maybe I can take a look.
