Just touching base. I am working on two monster projects, one of which is illustrating a children's book. Won't be around much for the foreseeable future, but will check in from time to time.
I am very sad that Truthseeker013 is no longer here. That's another reason why I don't visit much. A HUGE loss to B&W.

.... not to feel sad. Lots of issues involved. No big tragedy. I always have self-esteem probs, but now there are also trust issues.
On a brighter note, my article and designs have been given the thumbs-up by my boss.

every time you feel down
please think FIRST about the "brighter note" before all else.
focus on the positive, and deemphysize the negative.
whenever I see your artwork, it has such positivity. the bright colors the warm beaches, the deep blue sky. How can you feel sad when you are creating such artwork? |

I'm trying to put together an article for a client, to prove my research and writing 'prowess'. Worried that I won't be up to the task. It's an article on chronic fatigue syndrome, as it relates to seamen. Whoa. I am intimidated. Wish me luck. Take care, guys.

.... but I will go on putting 'confused' until I get drunk or sad, or -- miracle of miracles -- happy. Thank you guys for writing back. I've figured out a bit about how this blog thing works through comments on the ballots. It didn't come with a manual :-) I hope that when I 'wipe' comments (because they are private), it doesn't somehow end up looking like I'm avoiding a user. Terrible sentence structure, but I think you know what I mean.
We saw 'Life of Brian' again this weekend; in it I found the names of two past B&W users: Wolf Nipple Chips and Bigus Dickus. The film still holds up well; I love the outrageous religious satire, especially the scene at the end.
Got to get to work soon, so 'bye and have a good day. I leave you with some words of wisdom from 'Life of Brian':

Daddy used to sing a bit of a different version of 'looking on the bright side of life' to me when I was a wee child. Only later did I learn what had happened to him. How he turned out to be such a fine man proves that godawful adversity can be overcome. Thanks for your nice message re missing of Private Messages. I do believe that many on this site want them.

I hope things are going better for you.
Things are ok here. My job seems to be stable at the moment. My boss, who was going to be moved to a small area without us secretaries, went to bat for us and convinced our NEW director to keep us, using the TRUE argument that we were the lowest paid in the casino, and that she needed our assiatance (she has an enormous amount of work to do). He says he will listen. So, we have an interview with our new director sometime soon--who is cute BTW but that does not really matter. How are you doing with your health situation? Are you getting any better? Believe it or not, I think about you often, though I am not a frequent writer-back. I know I should be. I sure wish things would clear up here at B&W. All this fighting is so stressful. My blog is up and running now, too. I have your I will email address. I’ll email you soon.
