Iran will get nukes. I have no doubt of that. And the country is being run by "belief-based" religious fundamentalists, who like George Bush, Pat Robertson and the U.S. fundamentalists believe they are on a mission directed by God, and that God will protect them and guarantee the outcome of whatever they do.
I have no problem believing that Iran would, either directly or (more likely) indirectly nuke Israel, believing that it was God's will and that God would protect them from nuclear retaliation.
The way the USA, UK, and Israel keep invading and attacking other nations on spurious excuses and lies, then it makes perfect sense for ALL NATIONS to get nukes ASAP. But I doubt that Iran is developing any despite the USA's lies.
If they want to bomb some nation because of a nuclear weapons program, why not take on North Korea. Everyone KNOWS that they have nukes. North Korea said so...

Let's hope this never happens. If Iran nuked Israel, all hell would break loose. I think it would start the third world war. We are living real close to the edge today.
Your missing the bigger picture Jinn, Lebanon was minding it's own business for over 6000 years when less than fifty years ago the unwanted neighbour moved in.

1. The cruel dictator Saddam never minded his own business in the Middle East since he came to power. He was a constant menace to his neighbors and a mass-murderer of his own people, even going as far as using WMD's to kill thousands of the ones he didn't like. He ignored the repeated requests of the international community, including those of other Arab states, to comply with the UN resolutions that were implimented after his military forces were driven out of Kuwait. Kuwait was minding its own business when Saddam decided it should became a new province of Iraq.
2. The invasion of Iraq was not about making Israel safer, but it was about making ALL the Middle East safer for everyone, especially Kuwait.
3. The U.S.A did not act unilaterally. The plans to invade Iraq were supported by a Coalition of nearly 50 nations, many of whom sent their own troops and special forces, including and contrary to popular belief Canada.

You are obviously one those uninformed people that believes the silly tale that Jewish people just suddenly appeared from nowhere and "moved in" fifty years ago. The fact is, there were always thousands of Jews living in that region as they were all through history, before there was an Islam. More started moving there at the turn of the 19th century, just as they came to America, Canada, South America, Australia... And In case you didn't know, there has never in the history of the world been a country called Palestine.

Excuse me, but as I recall, Israel was busy slaughtering Palestinians when the IDF sent a platoon of soldiers with a tank across the border into Lebanon, when the platoon got smashed, the tank got smashed, and two Israeli soldiers were CAPTURED. Then Israel decided to lie about it (no surprise there)
