Yes, legalize it.
I don't feel that it should be legalized outright. In other words, it shouldn't be available at every corner drugstore. But I do believe it should be decriminalized, which is to say that possession of reasonable amounts for personal consumption is tolerated. Selling and growing it would still be illegal--though the penalty would be much less severe than it is now. It would also be illegal to smoke in public--(some people don't want a huge cloud of pot smoke in their face when they're walking down the street)--punishable by a fine. Smoking it around kids would also be illegal.
As you know, marijuana is Schedule I (worst) of the five Schedules in the U.S. That puts it in the same category as HEROIN, for chrissakes.
Only the most ignorant, uneducated person would think that marijuana is as bad as heroin. Heck, even METHAMPHETAMINE is Schedule II.
I could go on and on and on...
Ya it should be legal to smoke in your own home but not in the street. Someone could be near you and breat in that smoke go and get in there car high start driving and wreak into a women and her daughter killing them both. Do you want that over being cool? Dont get me wrong weed is really a good thing and relieves blood pressure in the body and is good for people with body pain. It also calms down the mind and is given to war veterans legally so they dont go crazy. Its only bad if the wrong people (stupid young adults) who try to impress there friends get it. Thats when people get hurt. Good ballot

To US_MarineCorp when you are if you legalized marajana; DWI deaths will be far greater then driving deaths do to weed.
Medical Marajuana; please that is really retarted. we have other drugs that do all that; i cant see weed pratically being used for medical purposes. Its really only real purpose is for recriational purposes.
