There are some websites out there that are nearly impossible to even get to load on some connections due to the amount of graphic intensive and in some cases interfacing types of advertisements and other media junk on them.

Which are the worst?

ESPN's web site
MSN's web site
SciFi's website

I can't even answer that, coz my computer, an older model, gets bogged down too easily. But it's a great question. I like design that communicates a message, not just how big the designer's ego is.

So the planned new Best & Worst banner using quicktime stating "LCD ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF" in more than 12,000 colors is probably not a good idea, mojo?

Well, Fox news has a site that it very disorganized, but isn't the worst. Any of the sites that have a flash graphic that keeps changing drives me insane. ABC news is a good example of that.

Somedays, I can't even get the text-only pages to load at SciFi's site. They're putting up a new broadband service to show short movies that tie in to the shows they're running, and the crap is gumming up their works.
