I believe that Jews and Muslims may, ironically enough, be worshipping the same God, and fighting over trivialities and historical quibbles. Christians, however, appear to have shifted their worship from 'the God of Abraham' to the one they assert is His Son. Trinity assertions aside, this strikes me as effectively 'a different God.'
Of course, I'd also argue that Christianity is effectively not a monotheistic religion.
Hmmm ... I sense a ballot idea ... thanks contragrain! ballot #100254
God told mankind that his Son was Lord. It is a monotheistic religion. Are you Christian Cathexis? The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit are in fact, one.
patch: I was raised Christian but no longer consider myself as such. Too many questions. Too many discrepencies. At least for me. I don't seek to convert anyone to 'my beliefs.'
Now, don't get me wrong, either ... I am not "Anti- Christian." I *am* anti- Religious Right ... but I don't consider them to be real Christians.
Voted : Yes, of course they are.
but this sweet, kind God won't stop the apes from fighting over "Him" Oh it's funny!

Voted : Yes, of course they are.
And, on the day that all parties wake up, after all the fireworks have gone off and everybody has their assigned slot in the afterlife, they'll regret the error of their thought patterns.
From the way they behave, it doesn't appear that they worship any god, at all.
Voted : No, they aren't.
of course not, each worships a culturally created trump card.
patch! myth and fact are intrinsically different. The concept of trinity as myth or fairy tale shouldn't offend you. Afterall, facts change daily and myths are eternal.
It is a fact that they worship the same God. Don't argue with it, it's completely true. The main values and core beliefs are the same, but certain aspects have changed due to separate cultures.
Voted : No, they aren't.
Allah is the moon god.
ah yes, the bigot mantra. allah simply means "deity" in many middle eastern languages, including aramaic, which yeshua ben nazereth himself spoke. and since they were forbidden from using the hebrew name, that means: JESUS CALLED GOD ALLAH ballot 101498

Their basis is the same (generally non-existent) god... Muslims and Jews still do, but they don't recognise it... Christians have altered their religion to a polytheism cloaked as monotheism...
